You might think it's a good idea to dispute the charge. Here's the problem.
1)The terms you agreed to when signing up clearly stated that we aren't responsible for issues that forced us to close the fields.
2) You agreed that there are no refunds.
3) Not only did you accept the terms, you also had to scroll through them and click "I Agree" when signing up. This is stored electronically, and uploaded to our processor.
4) If you chargeback, we are assessed a fee. As per the terms, we will pass this fee on to you. Last year a family tried disputing a charge, and they ended up paying $50 more to settle. We need to enforce these rules or we would have to charge more to cover all fees.
We are Chas V'Shalom not trying to threaten anyone. We are working very hard to find a solution that works for everyone. This virus had a horrible impact on so many people, but the league is a small company that's run by volunteers and lightly paid commissioners. To make them financially responsible isn't fair.
