F.A.Q.'s for the Soccer Season starting March 22nd 2020
If you still have questions, please e-mail us.
What age children can play in this league?
The only grades are PreK (kindergarten) and Pre1A.
Who's running the league?
Shilop Zylberberg is a Personal Trainer and runs sports clinics in the neighborhood. We were fortunate to connect with him, and we're sure he's going to give our kids a wonderful experience.
Is it just games?
No. The boys will also be getting instruction and health tips.
What are the dates of the games?
The games are set to start on March 22nd and ends on 06/14/2020. Our goal is always to play. Cold weather won't stop us unless it's very windy, and a light drizzle won't stop the games either.
What time are the games? What days?
Our games are always all on Sundays and they take place at the Number Two School in Inwood from 10:00 until 10:55.
Do I need to attend every game?
No. You can drop them off and pick them up at 10:55. Please understand that at 11:00 baseball starts, and your boys must be off the fields by then.
Can my daughter play as well?
This league is for boys only. If your daughters would like to play soccer, you can click here for an amazing program.
What equipment does my child need?
Sneakers and weather appropriate attire. We'll give him a throwover to wear while they play to separate the teams.
What happens if there’s bad weather?
Unfortunately, we aren’t able to control the weather. If it’s absolutely pouring on Sunday morning, we’ll usually have to cancel since the fields will be muddy. Please do NOT email us asking if we’re playing or giving us helpful suggestions. We speak to the district and the county and we must follow their leads. If the weather is horrible, we will cancel earlier, if it’s a light drizzle, we’ll wait it out. Keep in mind, when we wait it out, we lose thousands of dollars if it’s cancelled. We just want the kids to play. As soon as we make a decision, it’ll be emailed to everyone and put on the website. Our goal is always to play.
My son really wants to be with his friend. What can I do?
He will be. They're all playing as a group with different team each week..
I have more questions.
Please e-mail us at [email protected]. We try to get back to everyone within a reasonable amount of time.
